Since 1999, thanks to the passion of the Aveda network and guests, Aveda has raised more than $56 million to help support organizations that directly affect environmental change. More than $50 million has supported projects that protect clean water at home and around the world since 2007.
Aveda Institute Birmingham and Tonya Jones Salon and Spa are currently raising funds to support Cahaba River Society. Thanks to this year’s partnership with local artist, Carey Fountain, and the Amplify team, proceeds from each shirt will serve not only the population of the Cahaba watershed but also all people living and working in the Birmingham metropolitan area. The Cahaba is the main drinking water source for the Birmingham Water Works Board, which serves about one-fifth of Alabama’s people. CRS works with many statewide partners to strengthen water resource protection policies at the state level benefiting all the people of Alabama. CRS also serves the diverse freshwater creatures who depend on the Cahaba. The Cahaba has more species of fish per mile than any other river in North America. Support their mission to restore and protect the Cahaba River watershed and its rich diversity of life.
Together we can help make a stand for clean water.
